Ghost II

From February to October, Ghost II is priced by group size with a 3-hour minimum: $2,800 per hour for up to 60 guests, $3,100 for 61 to 80, $3,300 for 81 to 100 and $3,500 for 101 to 110. From November to January the minimum is 4 hours and the rates are $3,200, $3,400, $3,700 and $3,900 per hour. An 8-hour day charter costs $17,000 for up to 60 guests or $20,000 for more.

Public holidays add 20% to vessel hire and 100% to chef and waitstaff fees. Boxing Day is $26,000 for 4 hours or $35,000 for 8. New Year's Eve is a $110,000, 24-hour charter from midday to midday for 12 guests, boarding only at Rose Bay Marina. You'll need one waitstaff for every 10 guests, at $300 each for the first 4 hours and $50 an hour after that. Food orders above $1,000 come with a chef, who is $70 an hour beyond 4 hours. For formal dining, there may be a fee to remove and store furniture, quoted case by case. Public wharf fees are $50 per wharf, relocation to Pittwater is $2,800, and a 2-hour transfer is $6,000. A $2,500 deposit secures the booking, the balance is due 14 days before, and a $1,000 bond is refunded after the cruise.

Catering on Ghost II is fully bespoke, planned with the crew around your event and any dietary requirements. For smaller groups, the onboard chef cooks everything from canapés to plated silver service meals; for larger events, the crew brings in superyacht chefs to cater across each deck. The menu can run from a large canapé spread with substantial and dessert bites, to a mixed, seafood or grazing buffet, a three-course à la carte dinner served silver service, or a curated beach picnic. Spend more than $1,000 on food and a chef comes included.

Ghost II's four beverage packages are charged per person, per hour. Silver at $20 includes Josef Chromy sparkling, Italian pinot grigio, Barossa chardonnay, Little Yering pinot noir, a Western Australian cabernet shiraz, French rosé, Corona and Peroni. Gold at $30 steps up to Veuve Clicquot, and Platinum at $40 to Ruinart Blanc de Blancs, Sancerre and Shaw and Smith M3 chardonnay. Prestige at $150 is built around Dom Pérignon 2009 and Leeuwin Estate Art Series cabernet. A bar tab on consumption is also available, served from the fully stocked bar.

Ghost II is available daily, subject to the live calendar. The minimum charter is 3 hours from February to October and 4 hours from November to January, and 8-hour day charters are available. Overnight stays can be arranged for 8 guests.

Most groups board at King St Wharf in the CBD, and Pirrama Park in Pyrmont, Rose Bay Ferry Wharf, Double Bay Wharf, Casino Wharf, Walsh Bay and Towns Place East are also on the list. Other harbour wharves can be requested, subject to availability and extra fees. Public wharf fees are $50 per wharf. On New Year's Eve, Rose Bay Marina is the only boarding point. Ghost II can also relocate to Pittwater for $2,800.
