About Bella Venezia
Bella Venezia is a modern Italian restaurant on the Mooloolaba Esplanade, opposite the beach. The menu leans on Sunshine Coast produce and seafood landed at Mooloolaba's port, with pasta made in-house. For smaller functions there is a Private Dining Room, screened from the main restaurant by a glittering metallic curtain. It is booked by one group at a time, takes 10 to 24 guests at a single long table, and carries no room hire fee. Larger groups can use the main dining room, which seats up to 30 for a function. Seating around the restaurant ranges from blue velvet banquettes and red velvet booths to tables facing the esplanade and an alfresco garden area looking towards the water. Groups of ten or more are asked to choose a set function menu of three or four courses. Both open with charcuterie boards and warm marinated olives for the table, then offer a choice of entree and main, with dessert added in the four-course version. The wine list is large, with hundreds of labels and dozens poured by the glass, and the staff can suggest pairings for a set menu. Groups of ten or more who order from the standard menu instead have a minimum spend of $95 per person, food and drinks combined. A 5% service fee applies to these larger groups, along with a 10% weekend surcharge and a 17% public holiday surcharge.

The four-course menu adds a choice of dessert, including lemon tart, a flourless chocolate torte or a lemon and vanilla panna cotta. Gluten-free and dairy-free dishes are marked, and a vegan menu is also offered.
