About Bianco Italian
Bianco Italian Cuisine & Bar is a modern Italian restaurant at 5 Tay Avenue, Caloundra, on the corner of Bulcock Street in the Bianco building. The kitchen is known for Pizza Contemporanea, a light style made from a long-fermented dough, alongside house-made pasta and Mediterranean-leaning share plates. Guests can sit in the main dining room, outdoors, or in Bianco Bar, an 18+ lounge within the venue. The bar can be reserved for a private event, with a minimum spend quoted when you enquire. Tables of 12 or more order from one of two sharing banquets. Feast One at $69 per person runs through pasta fritters and calamari, two pastas, then a rocket and parmesan salad with chef's choice pizzas and a cannolo. Feast Two at $89 per person adds a cured meat board, focaccia and prawn skewers, two pastas of your choosing and a dessert. If neither banquet suits, the team will write a set menu for the celebration. Vegetarian dishes and some vegan options are on the menu, and many dishes can be made gluten free for an extra charge. The bar mixes signature cocktails and pours an extensive wine list from Italy, the Mediterranean and further afield, with many premium bottles available by the glass through Coravin. A sommelier is often on hand, and the venue is not BYO. The site points to birthday dinners, anniversaries, family gatherings and work dinners as its celebration fit. Send an enquiry with the date, time and number of guests to start planning.
