About Kings Beach Tavern

Kings Beach Tavern is a pub on Burgess Street in Kings Beach, at the southern end of the Sunshine Coast in Caloundra. It runs a bistro, a public bar and covered timber decks, and several of these areas can be set aside for private and semi-private functions. The venue lists five function spaces. The Beach Bar can be booked exclusively as a fully private area for up to 300 guests. Its deck takes up to 80 on a semi-private basis, either as half the deck for a smaller group or the whole outdoor area. On the bistro side, the full Bistro Deck holds up to 120 guests, or 80 seated, and the Half Bistro Deck suits 60 standing or 40 seated. For a sit-down lunch or dinner with family, friends or colleagues, the Bistro Section seats up to 36 within the main dining room. Function catering is built around share platters, each holding 30 pieces. Choices run from pizza, chicken wings and party pies to antipasto, seafood, yum cha and spinach and ricotta rolls, and the list includes vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free platters. Drinks can run on a bar tab set to a limit you choose, which the team reviews with you as the event goes on, or on a cash bar where guests buy their own. Send an enquiry with your date, numbers and preferred space to start planning.

Good venue, not too much noise, food quite pricey , but justifiably so , as good quality.
