About The Aviary

The Aviary is a rooftop bar on William Street in the Perth CBD, opposite Raine Square. The open-air deck is dressed with timber, palms and lounge furniture, and the city towers rise all around it. The venue sells eight function spaces. On the rooftop, the William Street corner takes 50, Palm 1 takes 50 and Palm 2 takes 30, and they combine into areas for 80 or 130 guests. The Hidden Garden is a semi-private nook for smaller groups. For a big party, Rooftop Exclusive gives you more than 300 square metres of open-air space for up to 320 guests. Indoors, The Loft is a private room for 180 standing or 30 seated, with its own bar, a DJ booth, speakers, a microphone and a large LED screen. Canapé packages come with six, eight or ten choices, mixing hot, cold and sweet items, and substantial canapés such as sliders and nasi bowls can be added. Platters of 30 pieces cover fried chicken, sushi, calamari, vegetarian bites, party pies and churros. Standard and premium drinks packages run for two, three or four hours with wine, tap beer and soft drinks. You can also set a bar tab and review it during the night, switch to pay as you go, add a spirit upgrade or a spritz on arrival, or book karaoke in The Loft. Packages are for groups of 20 or more and are arranged ahead with the functions coordinator. A lift serves the lounge bar and rooftop, and the whole venue is non-smoking.

Pricing

Canapé packages are $37 per person for six choices, $45 for eight and $56 for ten, with substantial canapés at $11.50 each. Platters of 30 pieces range from $80 to $135.

Standard drinks packages are $48, $61 or $75 per person for two, three or four hours, and premium packages are $59, $73 or $87. A spirit upgrade is $29 per person and a spritz on arrival $15 per person, all for a minimum of 20 guests.

Food

Canapé packages offer six, eight or ten choices across hot, cold and sweet items, such as spring rolls, sushi, arancini, quiches and cakes. Substantial items include cheeseburger and vegan sliders, mini fish and chips, nasi bowls and dirty fries.

Platters of 30 pieces cover fried chicken, sushi, salt and pepper calamari, vegetarian bites, Aussie party pies and dessert churros. Low-gluten, low-dairy, vegetarian and vegan items are marked.

Beverages

Standard and premium drinks packages run for two, three or four hours, with sparkling and still wines, tap beer, soft drinks and juices. A bar tab can be set to a limit and reviewed during the event, or the bar can switch to pay as you go, and a spirit upgrade or a spritz on arrival can be added.
