About The Generous Squire
The Generous Squire is a pub on Murray Street in the Perth CBD, with a side entrance from Shafto Lane. It runs a small working microbrewery on site and a menu built around burgers and beer snacks. The venue offers seven function options. Downstairs, The North Hall overlooks the beer garden and suits about 25 standing, The South Hall sits beside the bar for 15 to 35, and the two can be combined for 80. Upstairs, Lucy's Lounge has its own bar and flexible seating for up to 70. The Kissing Point Rooftop is a private garden with a separate bar for up to 80, and the whole upper level can be booked together for 150. For big groups the entire pub is available for exclusive hire, holding up to 450 guests. Most spaces are semi-private, while the rooftop is fully private. Function food covers canapé packages of six or eight pieces, burger and chicken sliders by the piece, platters of 30 pieces and grazing tables. The kitchen can also tailor a menu for the event. Drinks are offered as standard or premium packages for two, three or four hours, with spirit and cocktail add-ons for groups of 20 or more. Platters range from calamari and pork belly to cheeseburger spring rolls, and the grazing table brings cured meats, cheese, olives, pickles and Turkish bread. Low-gluten, low-dairy, vegetarian and vegan options are marked across the menu.

A bar tab can be set to a limit and reviewed during the function, or guests can buy their own drinks from a cash bar.

Canapé packages are $35 per person for six pieces or $42 per person for eight. Grazing tables are $26 per person, or $24 per person for the vegetarian version, and platters of 30 pieces run from $75 to $160.

The standard package is $43 per person for two hours, $55 for three and $70 for four. The premium package is $53, $68 or $81 per person, and groups of 20 or more can add spirits for $29 per person or an arrival cocktail for $13 per person.
Can we bring a cake and decorations?
Yes, a cake is welcome with no cakeage charged. Decorations are fine as long as they aren't messy and don't affect other customers.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
There is ramp access into the pub from Shafto Lane. Access is to the ground floor only, as the building has no lift, so the upstairs lounge and rooftop are reached by stairs.
