About Hyde Park Hotel
Hyde Park Hotel is a pub on Bulwer Street in West Perth with a main bar, a restaurant, a sports bar and a leafy courtyard. Alongside everyday dining it runs a steady function trade, with private and semi-private spaces for parties of most sizes. The Speakeasy is the private option, a room that seats about 45 or holds 60 standing and can be booked exclusively. The Mermaid Bar is a corner of the main bar for up to 70 standing, handy for drinks with a group. The Sports Bar suits big crowds of up to 200 standing, and it comes with a stage, a dance floor, its own bar, a projector and a pool table. It isn't available during the AFL season or big sporting events, so check dates early. The restaurant seats around 80 for long-table lunches and sit-down birthday dinners, and the courtyard picnic tables can be reserved for about 30. Dogs on a lead are welcome out there but not inside. Function catering is built around share platters, from chicken skewers and arancini to pizza slabs, party pies and prawns. Two-hour drinks packages or a bar tab cover the drinks, and extras such as karaoke in the Speakeasy, a photobooth or a party host can be added on request.

Which space suits a big party?
The Sports Bar holds up to 200 standing or 120 seated and comes with a stage and dance floor, plus its own bar, a projector and a pool table. It can't be booked during the AFL season or major sporting events.
Can we hold a 21st here?
21st parties are taken after a conversation with the functions coordinator. You'll also need to agree to pay for a security guard to be on site throughout the party.
Can under-18s come to the function?
Yes, as long as each minor is supervised by their own parent or guardian. Minors need to leave the venue by 9pm.
What drinks options are there?
The Sip Sip Hooray package is $50 per person for two hours of house wines, selected tap beers and soft drinks. The Fancy Sip package is $70 per person for two hours and opens up the full wine list. Bar tabs can also be arranged, with security held on the day.
Can we bring our own cake or food?
A celebration cake is fine, but no other outside food or drinks can be brought in. Platter orders and final numbers are locked in seven days before the event.

I had dinner with my boyfriend and his family and it was wonderful. such a lovely atmosphere and good food! I especially recommend the croquettes, I'm quite fond of croquettes and these ones were really nice.
