Pontoon Boat Tours runs a custom-built, covered pontoon on the Mandurah waterways, and every trip is a private one. Your group of up to 12 has the boat and an experienced captain to itself, cruising the estuary, the canals and the calm river reaches inland. The set-up suits a relaxed day out or a lively one. On board there is a BBQ, a fridge, eskies with ice, fresh drinking water and a toilet, plus a sound system for your own playlist. Food and drinks are BYO, so the group decides what comes aboard. For a party, the floating pub crawl is the standout choice. The skipper takes your group between waterfront pubs, breweries and restaurants, handling navigation and docking while you enjoy the tunes on the way. It is pitched at birthdays and hens and bucks groups, with a daytime run and an evening run. Other private trips include sunset cruises, a dolphin cruise on the estuary and a sunset cruise paired with a brewery grazing box. In the festive season there are Christmas lights tours through the canals. Groups wanting something of their own can hire the boat and captain by the hour for a work function, a birthday or a family day.
