About Blue Destiny Boat Charters
Blue Destiny Boat Charters operates Blue Destiny, a 68ft catamaran surveyed for 100 passengers plus crew, from its pen at the Fishing Boat Harbour in Fremantle. The team has organised corporate and private cruises for about two decades, and it builds each charter around the group's own plans. The boat is set out over two carpeted decks. The upper deck sits under shade sails and can hold seating or be cleared as a dance floor, with a servery, a slushy machine, food warmers and a six-burner BBQ. The lower deck has roll-down clear blinds for weather, and a rear platform lowers for swimming and snorkelling. Inside, the saloon has tables and seating, a galley with two fridges and two ovens, a bar, and two TVs linked to the sound system and party lighting. Groups can cruise the Swan River, swim with the seals at Carnac Island, or head out to Rottnest Island to look for dolphins and, in season, whales. Catering can be BYO or arranged as canapes, platters, a BBQ or a formal sit-down menu, and drinks range from BYO to wine, beer, sparkling and cocktails. Wait staff are included in the standard rates and will serve guests or cook the BBQ. Charters leave from Fremantle, with boarding also available at Barrack Street Jetty and other jetties for a surcharge. The same boat runs scuba and snorkel day trips to Rottnest Island, and private dive charters can be arranged for clubs and groups.

Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to hire Blue Destiny?
From $1,050 an hour for up to 60 guests Monday to Thursday, or $1,200 for up to 100, with a four-hour minimum from Fremantle. Friday to Sunday rates are $1,200 and $1,350 an hour.
How many guests fit on the catamaran?
Blue Destiny carries up to 100 passengers for river, Rottnest Island, Carnac Island and transfer cruises. Snorkelling charters take up to 60 and scuba charters up to 45.
What catering options are there?
Groups can bring their own food or choose canapes, platters, a BBQ or a formal sit-down menu. The crew will cook a BBQ and serve your guests or help your caterers serve.
Where can we board the boat?
Standard charters depart Fremantle. Boarding at Barrack Street Jetty in the city and some other jetties, such as Thomsons Bay at Rottnest Island, adds a 25% jetty surcharge.
Can guests swim from the boat?
Yes. The rear platform lowers for easy swimming and snorkelling, and Carnac Island and Rottnest Island cruises often stop so guests can get in the water with the seals and fish.
