About Party Boat Charters
Party Boat Charters runs a fleet of five private party boats on the Swan River, all boarding free of charge at Barrack Street Jetty in the Perth CBD. The company was started by Bronson Norrish, who has spent more than three decades on the river, and it is run by its owners, which keeps the service personal and the choice of boats wide. The boats cover most group sizes. The Entertainer is a two-level cruiser with an upstairs flybridge for up to 62 guests, set up with a BBQ, ice box, lighting and a sound system, and it welcomes hens and bucks groups. The Hula Hula takes 110 for daytime cruising with river views on every side, a BBQ, three bathrooms and wheelchair access. The Moonlight Express holds 118 with a large kitchen and oven, two TV screens and a microphone, while The Queen carries 120 and The Classique takes 152 with party lighting and arcade machines on board. Food and drinks are flexible. Several boats allow BYO food and drinks, outside caterers are welcome, and the Moonlight Express offers either a licensed bar or BYO with a fee. Some boats can also collect guests from other river stops, including Mandoon Winery in the Swan Valley. Charters generally run in three slots: late morning to early afternoon, mid-afternoon to evening, and evening to midnight. The owners recommend checking boat availability with them before booking, as the online booking page does not show which dates are taken.
