About Adrenaline Vault Belmont
Adrenaline Vault Belmont is an indoor rock climbing gym on Robinson Avenue, one of two climbing centres the business runs in Perth. The Belmont site covers every style of indoor climbing, from bouldering to roped walls. Bouldering runs on 4.5 m walls over thick padded mats, and the 8 m top rope wall is climbed with a partner on belay. Lead climbing is open to experienced climbers who hold a lead pass, and four auto-belays lower climbers without a buddy. No experience is needed. Kids are welcome, with six the suggested minimum age, though under-12s climb in the top rope area while the bouldering zone is kept for climbers 12 and over. Birthday parties run for two hours, with the staff looking after the details so guests can get straight onto the walls. The gym also hosts corporate groups looking for a team building outing, plus school and social groups. Any group of 10 or more has to book ahead, while smaller groups can simply turn up during opening hours. Shoes, harnesses and chalk bags can be hired at the desk, and private lessons with an instructor can be arranged.

Frequently asked questions
Do we need to book a group climb at Adrenaline Vault Belmont?
Only groups of 10 or more people have to book ahead. Smaller groups can walk in and climb at any time during opening hours without a reservation.
What kinds of climbing are at the Belmont gym?
Belmont has bouldering on 4.5 m walls with padded mats, an 8 m top rope wall that needs a belay partner, lead climbing for climbers with a staff-verified lead pass, and four auto-belays that need no partner.
How old do kids need to be to climb?
The gym suggests a minimum age of six, although younger children have climbed. Children under 12 are limited to the top rope area, and the bouldering zone is for climbers aged 12 and up unless they are in the Youth Squad program.
Do climbers need their own gear?
No. Climbing shoes can be hired for $8, a harness for $5 and a chalk bag for $4. The family pass for two adults and two children includes climbing and gear hire.
How long is a climbing birthday party?
A birthday party at Adrenaline Vault runs as a two-hour session. The team takes care of the party details so the guests can concentrate on climbing, and party bookings are made with the gym in advance.
