About Upstairs Lounge @ 44North
The Upstairs Lounge sits above 44North, the specialty coffee cafe and cocktail bar a block back from Bondi Beach on O'Brien Street. The room runs to about 80 square metres and is given over entirely to your group, with its own private bar, its own toilets and exclusive use of the floor. The fit-out mixes high tables and lounges, so it flexes between a stand-up party, a relaxed birthday or a work gathering without feeling like a function room. There's a PA system for music and speeches, and natural light through the day. Catering is in-house from the 44North kitchen, and drinks come from the bar downstairs. It suits groups of 20 to 40 guests. Being one of the few private spaces this close to the beach, it books out quickly for summer weekends.

Best cafe/bar in bondi, smash burger is 10/10, all the cutest doggos come here, vibes are immaculate, honestly don’t know why you’d bother going anywhere else in bondi when you have 44. Staff are alright too ❤️

Honestly, I just come for the dogs. Pat is a legend. Coffee on point. Vibes are always high. I actually love this spot mid week for laptop sessions at the bar 👌🏼
