Parramatta Party Hire runs a marquee fleet out of a yard at 13/165 Waldron Rd, Chester Hill, and it is a deeper range than most Sydney hire firms carry. Clear framed marquees run from 5m x 6m up to 10m x 30m, white framed marquees in 5m, 6m, 8m and 10m spans stretch out to 10m x 60m, and there is a black framed range with a clear ceiling in 6m and 8m spans. Pagodas come in 6m x 6m, 6m x 9m and 7m x 7m, pop-ups run from 3m x 6m through to 8m x 16m, and there is a single 2.5m x 2.5m kiosk marquee for market stalls. The other half of the business is LED glow furniture, and that side is priced openly. Cubes, cylinder seats and bongo stools are $20 each, curved and straight benches $25, cocktail tables $35, sofas and lady arm chairs $40, mushroom tables $70 and bar pieces $75 each, with curved, wave and diamond bars built up from two, three or four pieces. Party packages bundle a bar, benches, cubes, cocktail tables and glow numbers together, from $300 for the smallest through to $1,100. Flooring, gas heaters, industrial fans, eskies, tables, chairs, linen and soft serve and slushy machines round out the list. Marquee sizes are all quoted rather than listed, so an enquiry with the date, the site and a guest count is the starting point. Delivery and collection run seven days a week between 7:45am and 4pm, excluding public holidays, and the drop is to ground level. The hirer carries responsibility for the equipment from delivery through to collection, and the terms note that the supplier does not assemble equipment, so confirm marquee installation when the quote comes back.

Glow furniture carries published prices: LED cubes, cylinder seats, bongo stools, traffic cones and serving trays at $20 each, curved and straight benches and square coffee tables $25, cube tables, sphere chairs and square plinths $30, cocktail tables $35, sofas and lady arm chairs $40, tea and coffee tables $40 to $60, mushroom tables $70, corner and flat top bars $75 each, wave bar pieces $85 each, park benches $100, the lips lounge $150 and the LED lounge set $350. Sets run from $100 for four cubes and a cube table up to $220 for a four-piece lady arm chair and mushroom table set. Packages are $300 for Keepin It Small, $400 for the Sweet 16th and Glow Package 1, $460 for Glow Package 2, $650 for the 18th, $700 for the 21st and the Premium, $1,000 for the All Out and $1,100 for Glow Package 3.

Equipment & Service Details

Delivery and collection run 7:45am to 4pm seven days a week, excluding public holidays, and the drop is to ground level only. Extra charges apply where equipment has to be carried more than 20 metres from where the truck can park, or where stairs, steep descents or building levels are involved, so those conditions need to be flagged by email when booking. A specific delivery time, a same-day collection or a delivery outside standard hours may also cost more. The terms state that the supplier does not set up equipment and that items are left for the hirer to arrange, so confirm installation and pack-down for a marquee when the quote is issued. The hirer is responsible for the equipment from delivery until collection and is liable for the replacement cost of anything lost, stolen or damaged, including damage from weather. Customers collecting from the yard are asked for credit card details or a bond. Cancelling within six days costs 30 per cent and within 48 hours the full amount, and deposits are not refundable. Bookings can be rescheduled if weather makes installation unsafe.
