About MY Privacy

MY Privacy is an 87-foot Warren yacht with a striking black and silver finish, and she hosts up to 36 guests on Sydney Harbour. Her signature feature is a full-length retractable sunroof, which opens the saloon to the sky on a good day and closes it again if the weather turns. Panoramic windows keep the harbour in view from inside, and the interior is fully air-conditioned. The open-plan layout runs from the saloon out to the decks, with lounges inside and out and seated dining for 10. The bar is one of the largest fitted to a yacht of this size, and there's a large flat-screen TV in the saloon. Out front, an oversized sunbed with umbrella shade is the spot for lounging. At the stern, a swim platform leads to two stand-up paddleboards and a large floating mat, all included. Four cabins sleep six to eight guests overnight.

Pricing

MY Privacy is $1,650 per hour from April to September with a minimum of 3 hours, and $1,850 per hour from October to March with a minimum of 4 hours. On public holidays a 25% surcharge applies to the vessel hire and a 100% surcharge to waitstaff fees.

Bar and waitstaff are $350 per staff member for up to 4 hours, then $87.50 per additional hour, with one staff member required for every 10 guests. Public wharf fees are $75 per wharf. BYO drinks and BYO food are each $20 per person. A $2,500 deposit confirms the booking, the balance is due 14 days before the event, and a $1,000 bond is paid before the cruise and returned afterwards.

Food

The canapé menu is $54 per person and includes rice paper rolls, mini bruschetta, petite beef burgers with Gruyère, mini beef stroganoff pies, chicken san choy bow and chicken satay skewers. Platters can be ordered with a minimum of three items: dips at $15 per person, antipasto or fruit and cheese at $20, oysters or king prawns at $25, a dessert tasting plate at $18 and a cold seafood platter at $85. A basic pizza menu at $15 per person is available on select cruises, and a children's menu of chicken nuggets and chips is $25 per child.

BYO food is welcome for a $20 per person surcharge, which includes serving equipment, crockery and cutlery, except from Thursday to Sunday in November and December, when BYO food isn't allowed.

Beverages

The beer, wine and sparkling package is $25 per person, per hour, and includes Chandon NV sparkling, Cape Mentelle Sauvignon Blanc and Oyster Bay Chardonnay, Corona, Asahi and Cascade Premium Light, plus soft drinks, juice, water, tea and coffee. St Hugo reds are included on corporate cruises only. Spirits can be added for $10 per person, per hour, and selections may change with the season.

BYO drinks are welcome for a $20 per person surcharge, except Thursday to Sunday during November and December.

Wharfs & Availability

MY Privacy is available daily, subject to her calendar. The minimum charter is 3 hours from April to September and 4 hours from October to March. Preferred time slots are 12pm to 4pm, 1pm to 5pm, 6pm to 10pm and 7pm to 11pm.

Most groups board at King Street Wharf in the CBD, and Pirrama Park (where Harris Street ends in Pyrmont), Rose Bay Ferry Wharf, Double Bay Wharf, Walsh Bay, Towns Place East and Casino Wharf are also available. Other harbour wharves can be requested, subject to availability and fees. Circular Quay isn't available. Pre-loading is usually possible about 90 minutes before pick-up, subject to availability.
