About Elysium II

Elysium II is a well-kept Seawind 1160 catamaran that takes up to 30 guests on Sydney Harbour. Her cockpit and saloon are fully covered, so there's shelter from sun and rain, and the saloon has central dining for 12. For time in the sun, the forward trampolines and upper deck are the places to stretch out. At the stern, a large rear entertaining area has a built-in gas BBQ, well-spaced seating and a fully equipped galley for cooking or prep. A quality sound system connects over Bluetooth, and a large esky keeps the drinks cold. She can anchor in a sheltered bay for a swim, and the lilypad and stand-up paddleboard come free of charge. Drinks are BYO, and food can be BYO or ordered from a BBQ, salad and sandwich menu.

Pricing

From May to August, Elysium II is from $325 per hour Monday to Thursday with a 4-hour minimum (the price list also shows $350 per hour for these days), and $450 per hour Friday to Sunday with a 3-hour minimum. From September to April, excluding December, she's $575 per hour on weekends and $500 per hour on other days, and December is $600 per hour every day, all with a 4-hour minimum. Public holidays are a flat $3,100, which includes wharf and BYO fees for up to 30 guests.

Wharf fees are $50 per wharf ($100 per charter), and the BYO fee is $150 for food and/or drinks. The lilypad and stand-up paddleboard are free. An $800 deposit secures the booking, the balance is due 10 days before, and a $500 bond is returned after the cruise.

Food

Catering is available with a $33 delivery fee. BBQ Pack 1 is $36.95 per person for a wagyu beef burger with the lot on a milk bun, and BBQ Pack 2 is $39.60 per person for two gourmet beef sausages in hot dog buns. Gourmet sausages are $5.54 each and skewers $6.60 each (chicken yakitori, chicken tikka, red wine and rosemary beef, or garlic prawn and chorizo), with Ora King salmon fillets at $19.80 and lamb cutlets at $6.09. Salads come small ($39.60), medium ($105.60) or large ($145.20), and there are triangle sandwiches, gourmet sandwiches and baguettes from $8.71.

BYO food is welcome, with plates and cutlery provided, the gas BBQ and galley to use, and the $150 BYO fee applying.

Beverages

Drinks are BYO, with disposable cups provided and a large esky on board. Bring your own ice. The $150 BYO fee covers food and/or drinks.

Wharfs & Availability

Elysium II is available every day, subject to her calendar. Most charters are a minimum of 4 hours, with 3-hour charters on Fridays to Sundays from May to August.

King Street Wharf in the CBD is the most popular place to board. Other options include Aquarium Wharf, Casino Wharf, Towns Place at Walsh Bay, the Elizabeth Macarthur Pontoon in Pyrmont, Lavender Bay, Mosman Bay, Balmain (Thames Street and Elliot Street), Birkenhead Point, Rose Bay, Double Bay and the Yarranabbe Park pontoon. Every wharf depends on availability, and you can ask for others at an extra cost. Wharf fees are $50 per wharf, or $100 per charter.
