About Alila

Alila is a generously sized catamaran that gives you the space and flexibility to design the day (or night) out on the water exactly how you want it. With room for 30 passengers plus 2 professional crew, the 11.6 metre vessel offers a genuinely versatile layout, from the covered entertainment area with premium finishes and flooring to the open-air nets where guests can stretch out and soak up the sun. Two onboard toilets add convenience for larger groups, and the dining table seats up to 8 for those who want a proper sit-down meal. Entertainment is built into the experience, with a 20-speaker Bluetooth sound system to set the mood and a swim ladder for guests keen to jump straight into the harbour. Two stand-up paddleboards and a floating lily pad give everyone a fun way to get out on the water independently, while the onboard BBQ and generous esky storage make catering for a crowd easy. At the helm is skipper Tim, whose relaxed and fun-loving approach has made Alila a favourite for guests wanting a genuinely enjoyable day on Sydney Harbour, backed by a crew focused on comfort and a great atmosphere from start to finish.

Pricing

Charters on Alila start from $450 per hour with a minimum booking of 4 hours. Shorter 3 hour charters can be arranged on request, subject to approval, at a higher hourly rate. If you'd like to pre-load decorations or supplies ahead of your charter, this can be arranged at Rose Bay for a $100 fee, subject to availability.

Food

Alila comes with a proper BBQ facility onboard, so you can put together your own spread or take advantage of the BBQ menu available on request. A canape and platter menu is also offered, and BYO food is welcome if you'd prefer to bring your own catering. Plates and cutlery are provided for anyone bringing their own food, and the dining table seats up to 8 guests for those who want a sit-down meal.

Beverages

Drinks on Alila are strictly BYO, so bring along whatever you and your guests would like to enjoy. Cups are provided, and while ice isn't supplied you'll have three large eskies onboard plus a small galley fridge-freezer to keep everything cold, so just remember to bring your own ice.

Wharfs & Availability

Alila is available for charter every day of the week, with real-time availability confirmed on enquiry. Charters run for a minimum of 4 hours, with preferred time slots of 11am to 3pm and 4pm to 8pm, though the first charter of the day can start any time before 1pm.

Pickups are available from a range of wharves around Sydney Harbour, with King St Wharf in the CBD the most popular choice. Other regular pickup points include Towns Place East, Rose Bay, Woolloomooloo, Lavender Bay, Mosman and Pirrama Park, and other wharves around the harbour can be arranged subject to availability. Pre-loading ahead of your charter is available at Rose Bay only, for a $100 fee.
