About XTsea

XTsea is a spacious catamaran built to host up to 30 guests in comfort, whether you're after a laid-back afternoon on the water or a full-blown party cruise. The onboard BBQ and microwave make self-catering a breeze, and all the crockery, cutlery, glassware and serving gear you'll need is already on board, so there's no need to pack a thing. For guests keen to get into the water, XTsea comes stocked with a clear-bottom kayak, a 12-foot stand-up paddleboard and the largest Bullfrog Aqua lily pad on offer, perfect for a swim stop or some downtime on anchor. Once the sun goes down, the boat transforms. Multi-coloured neon LED lighting sets the mood for twilight cruising, while a Fusion MS-RA770 head unit pumps music (DAB+ radio, Bluetooth or the pre-loaded iPod playlist) through a 600W amplifier and 10 speakers around the vessel. Cockpit speakers glow with their own coloured LEDs, and oversized tower speakers mounted on the mast turn the foredeck into a proper dancefloor. At the helm is Colleen, a certified coxswain, with her husband David rigging the boat and looking after guests as concierge throughout the charter. Together they're known for being warm, attentive hosts who help take the stress out of planning your day or night on the harbour. Please note XTsea is a non-smoking vessel, though vaping is permitted on the outdoor decks.

Pricing

Charters on XTsea start from $450 per hour, with a 4 hour booking generally preferred, though 3 hour charters can be arranged depending on availability. Pre-delivery of the boat to your chosen wharf is free of charge, subject to availability, but needs to be scheduled 2 hours ahead of your charter start time (for example, a 12pm charter requires delivery by 10am).

Food

XTsea comes with a BBQ on board, so you can put together your own spread, or choose from a BBQ menu or canape and platter menu if you'd rather leave the cooking to someone else. BYO food is also welcome, and table dining is available for a more relaxed sit-down meal. Plates, cutlery and cups are all provided, whichever catering option you go with.

Beverages

Drinks on XTsea are BYO. Cups, ice and drinking water are all supplied on board, so you just need to bring along your favourite beverages.

Wharfs & Availability

XTsea is available for charter every day, so it's worth checking the real-time calendar or getting in touch to confirm a date. Charters run for a minimum of 4 hours as standard, with shorter 3 hour bookings possible subject to availability, and all charters must wrap up by 10.30pm at the latest.

The most popular pickup point is King St Wharf in the CBD, though most other wharves around Sydney Harbour can be arranged subject to availability, with the exception of Kirribilli and St Ives Steps. Free pre-loading and decorating is also available on the morning of your charter at Elliot Street Wharf in Balmain, provided it's booked in at least 2 hours before your charter's scheduled start time.
