Groups throw in their own private lanes with a coach who goes through the safety rules and technique, then runs games so first-timers get the hang of it quickly. Upstairs on Level 2 there is a function room with a TV, a speaker system you can plug your own music into, a karaoke machine and a private toilet, plus Glow Darts. Groups of two to seven can book a one hour private session. Groups of eight or more play a hosted 1 hour 45 minute tournament with live scoring and a final showdown. The Ultimate Party Package adds shared pizza, a drink per person, a winner's trophy and an hour of Glow Darts. Alexandria also has an axe throwing and Glow Darts combo for six to twelve people, and a four hour hosted event for 20 to 45 people with the function room, karaoke, pizza and drinks. Large group bookings can request two hours of private function room use at no charge. The venue is licensed, with pizza feasts, grazing boards, sandwiches and bar packages available to add when you book. Drinks are served only after throwing, one at a time per person. It is not BYO, apart from a birthday cake and nibbles. Throwers must be 11 or older, with under-18s accompanied by an adult, and enclosed shoes are required. Public transport is the easiest way in, via Green Square or Redfern stations, and there are paid car parks nearby.
