About The Singing Heart Estate
The Singing Heart Estate is a privately owned property on Tanawha Tourist Drive in Tanawha, built by its owners after time spent in France. It hosts elopements and small weddings only, and books one celebration a day so each couple has the grounds to themselves. The estate covers 7.5 acres of hand-kept gardens laid out as a series of rooms, linked by hedges and paths. Fourteen olive trees line the driveway, which leads up to a water feature in front of the house. Ceremonies take place in a garden setting that flows straight into cocktail hour. Receptions are held in the Orangerie, a bright glass-walled room looking onto the gardens that can be used for dining, dancing or an indoor ceremony. Weddings here are for up to 50 guests. The Elope and Dine package is for a couple plus up to ten guests and includes seven hours of exclusive use, a celebrant, flowers, two hours of photography and a private chef dinner at one long table. Catering partners cook with seasonal local produce, from grazing boards to seated dinners in the Orangerie. Couples can bring their own photographer, celebrant or florist once the estate has approved them. Celebrations wrap up by 10pm at the latest, and music moves into the Orangerie from 8pm. A cottage beside the main house can be booked for the couple, and there is parking on site for 12 vehicles.

Frequently asked questions
How many guests can The Singing Heart Estate hold?
Small weddings and elopements are the focus here, with room for 50 guests at most. Its Elope and Dine package is for the couple plus up to ten guests, so twelve at the table.
What is included in the elopement package?
Elope and Dine includes seven hours of exclusive use, getting ready in the suite, a styled ceremony setting, a celebrant, a bouquet and ceremony flowers, two hours of photography, a private chef dinner and on-the-day coordination. It is priced from $6,500.
What happens if it rains?
Both the ceremony and the reception have a wet-weather setting on the property. The Orangerie and the main house give enough room to carry on without changing the plan.
How late can a wedding run?
Events finish by 10pm at the latest, and most end around 9pm depending on the package. From 8pm, music moves into the Orangerie at a lower volume to meet council rules, and Elope and Dine celebrations end by 8pm.
Can we see the estate before booking?
Yes. Private viewings of the house, Orangerie and gardens are held by appointment from Wednesday to Sunday and take about an hour. Video walkthroughs are offered for couples who cannot visit in person.
