About Brightwater Hotel
Brightwater Hotel is a waterfront pub on Freshwater Street in Mountain Creek, right on the edge of Brightwater Lake. Alongside its bistro, sports bar and bottle shop, it has a functions team that looks after gatherings from about 20 guests upward. There are three function areas inside the hotel. The Pontoon Function Room is a private room close to the main bar, with floor-to-ceiling doors that close for privacy while keeping the lake in view, and it seats 40. It comes with a wall-mounted TV, HDMI and Bluetooth connections, Wi-Fi and a roving microphone for speeches. Next to it, the Pontoon Deck is a covered, open-air area at the far end of the deck that takes 50 seated or 80 for a cocktail-style event, and it can be joined with the room. The Pavilion Deck has string lights, picnic tables, umbrellas and lounges for a casual crowd of up to 70 standing. Food comes from the hotel kitchen. Canapé packages start at four pieces a guest for groups of 30 or more, share platters feed eight to ten people each, and a pub classics menu with shared entrées suits seated groups of 20 or more. Menus are labelled for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-friendly and dairy-free choices. Drinks run on classic or premium packages of two, three or four hours, covering tap beer, wine, sparkling and soft drinks. Each space is hired for a four-hour block and a minimum spend applies, so send an enquiry with your date and numbers for a quote.
