About The Kin Kin Hotel
The Kin Kin Hotel is a heritage-listed, two-storey timber pub on Main Street in Kin Kin, a small village in the Noosa hinterland. It has traded since 1915 and has been carefully restored, keeping its polished timber public bar and veranda. The pub offers several spaces for private events. The Pavilion is a covered outdoor area with its own live music stage, taking 50 to 100 standing or 15 to 60 seated, from casual birthday gatherings to banquet dinners. Behind the hotel, the Chef's Courtyard is a private open-air space with greenery and a brick hearth, holding 30 to 60 standing or 24 seated. For some events the chefs cook over the open fire in front of your guests. The Nook sits behind the Pavilion stage, an open-air spot with an outdoor fireplace for 10 to 30 standing. The Woodshed is the pub's dining room, seating up to 50 for its seven-course degustation, and groups of 30 or more may need to book it exclusively. Food leans on local growers and the hotel's own market garden, with house-made sausages, smoked meats and sharing plates on the bar menu. The bar pours 12 beers on tap alongside cocktails and a long wine list. Afternoon teas, long lunches and fire-lit dinners all suit the outdoor spaces.
