Slipstream Brewing Social House is a bar and restaurant on The Avenue in Birtinya, run by the Slipstream craft brewery. The space is bright and open, with an urban fit-out, a colourful mural wall, cosy booths and three outdoor dining areas, and there is free parking in the shopping centre car park. Functions are taken for groups of 30 or more, and the spaces together suit anything up to 150 guests. The main room is the Entertainment Zone, an indoor room with a private bar, its own bathrooms, AV equipment and a large screen, plus pinball machines and a pool table. Booked exclusively, the Entertainment Zone seats 40 to 80 or holds 50 to 150 standing. Shared with other diners, it seats 25 to 60 or takes 25 to 80 standing, and hosts can choose the music themselves or book a live act. Outside, an undercover garden lounge with greenery, lounges, low dining and high bar tables takes up to 40 guests and opens straight onto the main bar and the kitchen. The alfresco area has high bar seating facing the street, holds up to 30 and opens into the indoor room for bigger events. The kitchen offers canapés and share feast options for functions, drawn from a menu of share plates, grilled meats, seafood and burgers. The bar pours the Slipstream range of beers along with American bourbons and ryes, wines and cocktails. The venue promotes its spaces for birthdays, team events, celebrations and corporate gatherings, as well as meetings.
