About Duporth Tavern
Duporth Tavern is a pub on Duporth Avenue in Maroochydore, with upstairs spaces that look over Ocean Street. Its functions team looks after events of almost any size across five separate areas. The 1911 space is a high-ceilinged bar of around 300 square metres with booth seating, a large bar, a dance floor area and its own amenities. It takes up to 120 guests, or about 300 once the terrace is added, and has a lift as well as stairs. Upstairs, the Sunset room has a private bar, a television with presentation capability, a media player and air conditioning. It suits up to about 40 to 50 guests on its own, and opens onto a terrace above Ocean Street for larger groups of 120 or more. At street level, the Laneway is a semi-outdoor beer garden for up to 150 that can be split for smaller groups. The Vineyard is a sectioned-off area by the front bar for casual gatherings of about 30. Food runs from canapés served by roaming staff and shared platters to grazing boards, pizzas, larger individual serves and an alternate-drop menu of two or three courses. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices are marked on the menus. Drinks can be covered by a two-, three- or four-hour package or a bar tab, with one bar staff member included. A $300 deposit secures your space and date.
