About Buderim Tavern
Buderim Tavern sits on Burnett Street at the top of Buderim, looking out over the coastline on one side and green hinterland on the other. Alongside its steakhouse restaurant and sports bar, the tavern runs a dedicated function room and several areas for events. The function room is in the south-west wing of the building. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring in natural light and the view, and the room has timber finishes, a fireplace, a dance floor, a private bar and staging when needed. Cocktail-style events take up to 160 guests in the function room. Seated receptions suit 60 to 100 people, with six tables of ten in the main room and more tables flowing into the adjoining bar room, and the venue's function areas take groups of up to 250 in total. The tavern hosts birthdays, engagements, reunions, wedding anniversaries, cocktail parties and corporate meetings or training days. Weddings can keep the ceremony on site too, on the restaurant deck or the open-air terrace deck. Food comes from the in-house kitchen as roaming canapés, substantial items, share platters, grazing boards or a plated menu served alternate drop. Drinks run as a set three-hour package, a tailored bar tab or a cash bar where guests pay for their own. Room hire includes furniture, linen, crockery, glassware and staff, and audio-visual equipment is on hand. Send an enquiry to book.
