About Tara Lee Photography
Tara Lee has photographed weddings on the Sunshine Coast for more than two decades, and her tally now sits above 500. She works from a home studio in Wurtulla and covers ceremonies and receptions from the beaches of Caloundra and Mooloolaba up to Noosa and out into the Maleny hinterland. Her style leans towards honest moments over polished posing. On the day she gives couples simple prompts, finds them good light and lets the conversation do the rest, so the images read as relaxed rather than staged. A few classic group and family shots are taken around the ceremony, and then the focus moves to the two of you and your guests. Coverage is built around your timeline. A typical day runs from groom and bridal preparations through the ceremony, congratulations and family photos, location portraits around sunset and into the reception, and extra reception hours can be added if you want the speeches and dancing captured in full. She carries two cameras that write to twin memory cards, brings clear umbrellas if rain threatens, and has a plan for a second shooter or a stand-in photographer should illness strike. Every image receives a light edit for colour and exposure, with premium retouching available per photo. The online gallery lands 4 to 8 weeks after the wedding, can be shared with family and suppliers, and prints, canvases and albums can be ordered through her. Wedding collections start at $2,390. Extra reception coverage can be added at $480 for each additional hour, and custom quotes are available on enquiry.
How soon will we receive our wedding photos?
The online gallery is delivered 4 to 8 weeks after the wedding, depending on the season. It stays available to download for 2 months, and hosting can be extended for $79 per year.
How many photos can we expect from the day?

What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
Tara brings clear umbrellas and will head out for portraits after the ceremony if it is safe for her gear. If high winds make that impossible, she offers a 1-hour couple session on a later date.
Are the photos edited before delivery?
Every image gets a light edit covering colour and exposure. Extra retouching, such as removing an object or smoothing skin, is a premium edit charged at $35 per photo.
