About Nicci K Photography
Nicci K is a Sunshine Coast photographer whose work looks and feels a little like film. Before picking up a camera full time she worked as a paramedic, and that experience shapes how she shoots: she watches for the fleeting, unscripted moments and keeps people at ease rather than directing a performance. Weddings and elopements are at the heart of the business. For couples who want something small, she does far more than turn up with a camera, helping with location scouting, timeline planning, permits and introductions to florists, celebrants and stylists. Elopement packages cover 2, 4 or 6 hours and can include a dedicated content creator, cinematic highlight reels within 24 hours, first images within 48 hours and an online gallery with a print store. Polaroids are handed over before she leaves. She also covers events and retreats, from business launches and studio open days to workshops and wellness gatherings. Having run events herself, she photographs them unobtrusively so guests stay comfortable, and the images give organisers a ready-made library to promote the next one. The full gallery arrives 5 to 6 weeks after the day with a cinematic slideshow, and heirloom albums and wall art can be designed afterwards. How much does Nicci K charge to photograph an event?
Event and retreat photography starts from $350. Elopement packages are $2,800 for 2 hours, $4,000 for 4 hours and $5,000 for 6 hours of coverage.
Is there a travel fee on the Sunshine Coast?
No. Travel within the Sunshine Coast is included at no extra charge. Shoots further away are quoted with a custom travel cost.
How quickly will we see our photos?
Sneak peeks and content clips arrive within 24 hours, and the full gallery with a cinematic slideshow is delivered 5 to 6 weeks after the day.
Can Nicci help us plan an elopement?
Yes. She helps with location scouting, timeline planning, permits and logistics, and can recommend florists, celebrants and stylists for your day.
What happens if it rains or we need to cancel?
If the weather turns, the shoot can move to the next available slot or to an indoor location. Deposits are non-refundable, and cancellations need at least 7 days' notice.
