About Sunny Coast Photos
Sunny Coast Photos is the business of Dave Gleeson, a freelance photographer who lives and works at Sunrise Beach, just south of Noosa. Before settling on the Sunshine Coast he spent two decades shooting for newspaper and magazine publishers, and he has now worked locally for more than 15 years. Events make up a big share of his calendar. He photographs corporate functions, gala dinners, conferences, community gatherings and sporting events, and he is often the lead photographer at local fixtures. Around 30 to 40 weddings a year round out the work, alongside commercial, portrait and aerial jobs. Speed is what he is known for. Event images are usually delivered the same day or the next, commercial work within two or three days, and wedding galleries within a week, each sent as a secure online gallery link with updates along the way. Dave handles roughly nine in ten shoots himself. For larger events he can call on a small team of experienced associate photographers so more of the room is covered. Before the day, clients are encouraged to send through their ideas and a list of shots they want, which are worked through when the booking is confirmed.
