About The Windsor Hotel
The Windsor Hotel is a heritage-listed, family-run pub on Mill Point Road in South Perth. Under one roof it runs six bars, a restaurant, its own small brewery and eight separate spaces that can be booked for functions. For a big crowd, the Garden Bar is an open-air courtyard under grapevines and plane trees that takes up to 500 guests. Inside it, La Terrazza is a semi-private indoor-outdoor room for up to 80, while the high Garden Bar Table suits a casual group of 20 to 35. Two private bars each hold up to 120 standing. Black Pearl Bar is an indoor room with its own bar and several TV screens, and the Verandah Bar is an open-air space under vines and fairy lights with a painted mural wall. Seated events head to the restaurant side. The Zephyr Room is a private dining room for 40 seated or 50 standing with a projector, the Starboard Deck seats 65 beneath a large plane tree, and the semi-private Yacht Club Bar holds 60 for drinks. Every function apart from the Garden Bar Table pre-orders a canapé package or a set menu for all guests. Canapé packages run from four to ten pieces each, and three set menus give a choice of mains with a shared or plated start. Drinks can be a prepaid package, a bar tab or a cash bar, and the taps pour beer brewed on site. A refundable $300 deposit secures the date, so send an enquiry to check which space is free.

Frequently asked questions
How many guests can The Windsor Hotel take for a function?
The Garden Bar takes up to 500, Black Pearl Bar and the Verandah Bar up to 120 each, and La Terrazza up to 80. The Starboard Deck holds 80 standing or 65 seated, the Yacht Club Bar 60, and the Zephyr Room 50 standing or 40 seated.
Do we have to order food?
Yes. Every booking except the Garden Bar Table needs a canapé package or set menu pre-ordered for all guests, with choices and final numbers confirmed two weeks ahead. Many canapés can be adapted for vegan, gluten-free and other dietary needs, and you can bring a celebration cake with no cakeage charge.
How do drinks work at a function?
Drinks packages cover two, three or four hours, from $42 per person up to $77 per person, and must be prepaid for every adult guest. You can also run a full or restricted bar tab, paid on the night, or let guests buy their own at a cash bar.
Is there AV and music?
AV gear including a microphone, projector, screen and speakers can be hired from $150. The in-house music system can be turned up or down for your event, and bands or DJs can be arranged for Garden Bar functions.
What happens if it rains on an outdoor booking?
Several spaces are open-air. In wet weather, Starboard Deck functions move into the Zephyr Room where possible and Verandah Bar functions move to part of Mends St Bar, and fans or heaters can be requested.
