About Burswood on Swan
Burswood on Swan is a dedicated function venue at 1 Camfield Drive, Burswood, set on the edge of the Swan River at the Burswood Water Sports Centre. Every room looks across the water to the Perth city skyline, and there is free parking on site. The Swan Room is the main space, with full-height glass facing the river, a large bar and a white silk ceiling canopy strung with fairy lights. It seats 150 or holds 280 standing, and hire includes use of the lawn outside. Opening a partition joins the Swan and River rooms into the full venue, which takes up to 300 seated or about 350 standing with a dance floor. The grassed lawn can host bigger outdoor events or a marquee from the venue's approved suppliers. The venue is fully catered and licensed, so there is no BYO food or drink. Menus run from canapé selections and food stations to buffets and plated dinners, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free needs looked after. Drinks come as timed packages at three levels, from three to six hours. An event coordinator works with you on the details, and you can send an enquiry to arrange a walk-through.

Canapé menus are $24 per person for four choices, $35 for six, $46 for eight and $52 for ten. Buffets start at $76 per person for 50 or more guests, and the plated set menu with a four-hour drinks package is $154 per person.
A $5,000 deposit and booking form confirm the date, and a $500 bond applies to all bookings. Security, where needed, is $76 per guard per hour with a minimum of two guards for four hours.
Food
Plated menus can be built course by course, with mains such as barramundi, duck confit, beef fillet and lamb rack. The kitchen caters for medical dietary needs as well as vegetarian and vegan guests.
Beverages
Packages cover wine, sparkling, beer, cider and soft drinks, and consumption arrangements are available on request. Table service can be added for a fee.

How much is room hire?
From Monday to Thursday, hire is $1,000 for the River Room, $1,700 for the Swan Room and $2,000 for the full venue or lawn. On Fridays and Saturdays it is $1,250, $2,300 and $2,500. The lawn with a marquee is $8,000 Monday to Thursday and $9,000 on Fridays and Saturdays.
Can we bring our own food or drinks?
No. The venue is fully catered and licensed, so all food and drinks come from the in-house team.
Are there extra conditions for 18th and 21st birthdays?
Yes. An 18th or 21st needs a $1,000 bond, refunded if there is no damage, and at least two security guards booked through the venue.
What time do functions finish?
Functions are required to wrap up by midnight, and suppliers collect their equipment at the end of the night unless arranged otherwise.
