About Kalamunda Club
Kalamunda Club is a community bowls club on Kalamunda Road in the Perth Hills, run by a volunteer board. Members, guests and visitors drop in for meals, lawn bowls, darts, snooker or a drink at the bar. The clubhouse is hired out for functions of all sizes, and the club lists weddings, birthdays, engagement parties, corporate functions and work get-togethers among the events it hosts. Community groups can also book it for meetings. The licensed room holds up to 270 people. Inside there is a long bar, dartboards and screens for the footy, and outside the greens wrap around the clubhouse. Hosts can add the greens and bowls to their booking, so guests can roll a few ends between drinks. It is a casual way to break the ice at a birthday or a team outing. A commercial kitchen on site means the club can cater the whole event, or you can make your own food arrangements instead. The bar is fully licensed. Functions run from Monday through Saturday, and Sundays can be arranged. Next door, Stirk Park offers a leafy backdrop for wedding photos.
