About Tammy Wood
Tammy Wood is a Perth-based Commonwealth marriage celebrant who has spent many years writing and performing personalised ceremonies. Her wedding ceremonies can be romantic, funny, simple or sweet, and she has conducted everything from celebrations with hundreds of guests to quiet weddings with only the two witnesses present. Tammy sees the celebrant as the person who calms the nerves, tells the love story and chats with Nanna, so she spends time getting to know each couple. Ceremonies are written to touch your family and move your guests, with room for a laugh. Unique customs fit in easily too, such as sand pouring to blend families or cultures, releasing butterflies, a wine ceremony, poetry or even a private joke. Her fee covers an initial meeting about your vision and the legal requirements, plus every later meeting, call and email. You get access to her library of poems and readings, drafts and revisions of the ceremony, all initial legal paperwork and the cost of lodging it, a presentation copy of the ceremony, a signing table with a bridal tablecloth, a rehearsal at the venue and a portable PA system. As a preferred supplier for many Perth venues, Tammy can also help you choose a location. She has married couples at Kings Park, the Bell Tower, the Swan Valley, Araluen, Cottesloe, Sorrento and Burns Beach, Joondalup Resort, Wanneroo Botanical Gardens, Mindarie Marina, Belvoir Homestead and in plenty of backyards. She also conducts vow renewals, commitment ceremonies and naming days.

What paperwork do we need to get married?
Both of you must be 18 or over, with two adult witnesses, and a Notice of Intended Marriage must reach the celebrant at least one month before the wedding. Tammy walks you through every step.
Does Tammy conduct ceremonies other than weddings?
Yes. Alongside weddings she runs vow renewals, commitment ceremonies and baby naming days, each written around the people involved.
