About Tasha Jane Marriage Celebrant
Tasha Jane is a Fremantle-based civil marriage celebrant who took up the role after the same-sex marriage vote, wanting to help every couple celebrate their love. With a background as an educator and community theatre actress, she brings style, warmth and a light touch of humour to wedding ceremonies across Perth. Her approach has three stages, starting with a meet-and-plan session, usually over refreshments, where she learns about the two of you and what you want from the ceremony. Next she writes an original, personalised script and works on it with you until you are completely happy, with full access to the draft along the way. Finally there is a rehearsal so everyone knows where to stand and when. Tasha's husband Jason acts as sound technician. He brings a quality sound system and runs checks so guests can hear every word, and together they look at lighting for photos and the conditions at your location. The Signature Package includes all of these pre-wedding services, the rehearsal and sound, from $1,150. The Intimate Affair, from $800, suits a simple ceremony with a small number of guests and no attendants, where sound and rehearsal may not be needed. The Legals Only option, from $500, covers the legal vows and signing with two witnesses aged over 18.

What do we need for a Legals Only ceremony?
Just two witnesses over 18, the required legal vows and the signing of the paperwork. Tasha keeps it brief and fuss-free if that is what you want.
Does Tasha run a rehearsal?
Rehearsal is part of the Signature Package. Tasha coordinates the run-through, checks the lighting and conditions at your location and makes sure the order of the ceremony is clear.
