About Cherry's Catering & Events
Cherry's Catering & Events is a family-run Perth caterer with more than two decades of functions behind it. Everything is prepared in the team's commercial kitchen in Malaga on the day of the event and delivered ready to serve, with produce bought from local suppliers the business has used for many years. The menu range runs to more than 40 options. Stand-up events can have cocktail finger food and canapés such as arancini, spring rolls and prawn cocktails, served by uniformed staff or laid out grazing-board or buffet style. Seated guests can have a set menu, a banquet menu or a roast buffet, and there are breakfast buffets, drop-off platters, boxed lunches and self-serve cocktail stations for larger crowds. Cherry's holds its own liquor licence, so it can run the bar as well. Drinks packages include an approved manager, staff with RSA certificates, glassware and the equipment needed on the night, which keeps food and drinks with one supplier. Weddings and engagement parties are a big part of the work, with the banquet menu the most requested choice. The team also caters birthday milestones from 18ths and 21sts upwards, farewells, anniversaries, Christmas functions, wakes, conferences, open days, graduations and corporate networking evenings, and has worked wedding receptions at Brookleigh Estate and community art exhibition nights in the northern suburbs. Dietary needs are handled across the menus, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free, halal and nut-free options, with labelled meals where needed.
