Alphington Social is a bar and restaurant at 7 Rowe Street in Alphington, open for dinner from Wednesday to Sunday with a share-style menu and a cocktail list. Private events head upstairs, up the building's original banker's staircase, to a dedicated events space kept for your group alone. A sample function menu moves from cheeses and cured meats to share starters such as arancini, calamari, popcorn chicken and meatballs. The sample then brings a shared main with a rocket salad and finishes with mini cannoli. Treat it as a guide only, since the team builds each menu to suit the event. Drinks are set up as packages put together for each booking, drawing on the bar's cocktails, wine and beer. The events team also helps with the smaller details of the night, not just the food and drinks.
