About Paradise Jet Boating
Paradise Jet Boating has been running rides from Surfers Paradise since 2004. Each trip gives you 50 minutes on the water, mixing high-speed spins and drifts with a scenic run past Wave Break Island towards South Stradbroke Island. Allow about 65 minutes in total for check-in, the briefing and fitting life jackets. Groups are a core part of the business, and the group page covers birthdays, corporate and team days, Christmas parties, hens and bucks parties and sporting clubs. Bring 15 or more people and you can ask about a group rate on a scheduled ride. A private charter gives your group a boat to itself, and the fleet can seat 44 people in all. The Cavill Avenue departure point makes the day easy to plan, as hotels, cafes and places for lunch or drinks are all close at hand. Everyone will get wet, so wear clothes and shoes that can handle it, and leave your belongings in the free locked storage. Send an enquiry with your group type, numbers and preferred date, and the reservations team will confirm the details.

Frequently asked questions
How many people do we need for a group rate?
Group rates are available for 15 people or more on a scheduled ride. If you would like a boat to yourselves, a private charter can seat as many as 44 people using the whole fleet.
Can we run a work Christmas party on the jet boats?
Yes. Teams can join a scheduled ride or charter privately, leaving from Cavill Avenue for the Broadwater. Food is not part of the ride, but restaurants and bars for the rest of the party are a short walk away.
How old do riders need to be?
The minimum age is 4, with some 3-year-olds accepted at the operator's discretion, and there is no height limit. Children under 10 need an adult riding with them.
Can guests take phones or cameras on board?
Nothing can be taken on the boat, including bags, phones and GoPros, because everyone needs both hands free. You can leave it all in the free, locked boxes at the departure point, which are watched by CCTV.
Does the ride go ahead if it rains?
Rides run in light rain, and raincoats are available on request. If the crew cancels because of storms or unsafe conditions, you can choose to reschedule or take a full refund.
