About Aquaduck Gold Coast
Aquaduck Gold Coast runs a one-hour tour in an amphibious vehicle with a large yellow beak. It leaves from its own shop at the corner of Cavill and Ferny Avenues in Surfers Paradise, drives along the Esplanade and Tedder Avenue, then enters the water for a cruise through the canals. A guide talks the group through the sights all the way. There are two ways to bring a crowd. Groups of 15 or more can take discounted seats on the regular departures, sharing the vessel with other passengers, and a single departure can carry up to 90 people. A private charter keeps the vessel to your own guests, at 30 per vessel or 60 across two ducks. Charters can use the normal timetable, or a tailored departure can be arranged on request with pick-ups around Surfers Paradise and Main Beach. The operator's groups page names kids' birthdays, staff Christmas parties, hens nights and corporate charters. The kids' party is a private hour for up to 30 adults and children, with a party host on board. Every child gets a chance to steer once the duck is afloat and takes home a certificate, while the birthday child also receives a captain's hat and a whistle. Families can bring individual food boxes on board, though chips, popcorn and cake should wait until after the tour. Life jackets are carried for every passenger, and there are no fitness requirements for the trip. Send an enquiry to get a price for your group size and departure.

Regular departures carry up to 90 people, with group rates starting at 15 passengers. A private charter takes 30 on one vessel or 60 across two.
How much does an Aquaduck group trip cost?
The standard adult fare is $65. Group and charter prices change with your numbers and departure option, so send an enquiry for a quote.
What is included in an Aquaduck kids' birthday party?
You get a private one-hour tour for up to 30 adults and children, a party host, and a turn steering for each child. Each child also receives a certificate, and the birthday child gets a hat and whistle.
Can we bring food for a party on the duck?
Yes. Individual food boxes work well because children eat with them on their laps. Chips and popcorn are not allowed, and the birthday cake should be kept for after the tour.
Can we choose our own departure time for a charter?
Charters can use the regular timetable, leaving from the Surfers Paradise shop. Other times are available on request, and pick-up points around Surfers Paradise and Main Beach can change the route.
