About The Robina Pavilion

The Robina Pavilion is a large pub on Ron Penhaligon Way in Robina, sitting right on the lake. The Fitzgibbons family owns and runs it, and their publican history on the Gold Coast goes back to the 1930s. Five different areas can be booked for functions, and all of them look out over the water. The events team steers the choice of area according to the size and style of the gathering, so it pays to share your guest numbers early. Each private event gets its own exclusive space and an event manager who helps with the planning. Packages are shaped to the booking rather than sold off a fixed list, and that covers the catering as well as the layout. There is no fee for hiring a space. A minimum spend applies instead, and all of it can be used on food and drinks, with the amount quoted once the team knows your date and area. Drinks centre on a circular bar pouring beer, wine, spirits and cocktails, and pop-up bars can be hired for a function. An in-house DJ plays from 5pm to 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays, while Sunday afternoons bring live music from 1pm. Work events and social occasions are both on offer, and the venue runs a Christmas party season towards the end of the year. Groups of 25 or more should send an enquiry so the events team can take it from there.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a venue hire fee at The Robina Pavilion?

No. Functions carry a minimum spend rather than a hire fee, and the full amount can be redeemed on food and drinks.

How many function areas are there?

Five. Each one has views over the lake, and the events team can suggest which area suits your group size and format.

What is included in a function package?

Packages are customised for each event. They include an event manager, an exclusive event space, help with planning and catering options built around your needs.

Is there music during functions?

An in-house DJ plays from 5pm to 9pm on Friday and Saturday, and bands start at 1pm on Sunday. Ask the events team how this works with your booking.

When does a booking become a function enquiry?

Large groups and events of 25 people or more go through the events team rather than the standard table bookings. Send an enquiry with your date and numbers.
