About Ballroom @ Surfers Paradise Golf Club
The Ballroom is the main function room at Surfers Paradise Golf Club, on Fairway Drive at Clear Island Waters in the centre of the Gold Coast. The clubhouse is fully licensed, with a bar, a bistro and an 18-hole course around it. This private room is dressed with fairy lights and suits groups starting at 50. It seats up to 180 for a formal dinner and holds more than 200 in cocktail style. Everything for a big night sits within the room: a private bar, bathrooms, a dance floor and a PA system. A large balcony runs off it with an outlook across the golf course. The club also has smaller spaces if numbers change. The Garden Terrace takes 10 to 70 people in a more casual setting, with heaters for winter, and the air-conditioned boardroom fits up to 20 for meetings. Functions are looked after by the club's own team, who plan and set up the room around your event. Catering packages come in a range of styles and budgets, and details are supplied on enquiry. Easy access and good reno to what was a tired but family friendly golf club. Though it can still be loud post competitions the outdoor terrace seating is ideal, quiet and clean. The club has great value pub style meals.
