About Hotel CBD
Hotel CBD is a pub on Lake Street in Varsity Lakes with a bistro, a sports bar and dedicated function rooms. Patrons get free car parking below the building. The Manhattan Room is the larger of the two private rooms, holding 250 standing with a stage, a private bar, good natural light and its own street entrance. The Brooklyn Room is the smaller one, taking 100 standing with private street access and a bar of its own. Open the two together and you have The Hudson Room, which holds 400 standing. There are also two reservable areas that are not private rooms: the Alfresco Lounge and The Deck, which catches the sunset. Food can be as casual as platters for about 10 people or trays of 25 bites. Group feasting menus are $60 per person for two courses and $75 for three, while alternate-serve sit-down menus are $65 and $80 per person. Drinks can run as a bar tab with wristbands, a cash bar or a package on request. DJs can be hired for a minimum of two hours including a microphone and lighting, and AV equipment is available on request. 21st birthdays need one security guard for the length of the function, and 18th birthday parties are not taken. The Alfresco Lounge is $50 with a $300 minimum spend, and The Deck is $50 with a $1,500 minimum spend. A surcharge applies on public holidays, and figures can change with the season and final numbers.

Alternate-serve sit-down menus are $65 per person for two courses or $80 for three. Food choices are due 14 days before the event and final numbers seven days before.

What does it take to secure a booking?
A non-refundable $200 deposit and credit card details confirm the date, along with a signed booking form. Tentative bookings are held for up to seven days.
