About Mesi Studio
Mesi Studio is a creative space in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast, running guided art workshops for adults and younger makers. The room is bright and warmly styled, and it can be hired for private events as well as public sessions. Private bookings suit hens parties, birthdays, baby showers and bridal showers. The studio also takes team building sessions, corporate events and Christmas parties. Groups choose between two workshops. In the textured art session, guests layer paint and texture medium on a canvas, while the oil pastel option focuses on colour, blending and mark-making. No art background is needed, as a facilitator leads the session and there is no single right result. Each guest takes home what they made, and the public workshops run for about 2 hours. You can bring your own food and drinks, or the team can suggest local caterers. Add-ons include grazing tables, champagne on arrival, florals, place cards, balloon styling, photography and gift bags. The studio comfortably seats 20 for a private event, and larger groups can ask what is possible. The team can also bring a workshop to you, and kids' parties run under the Mini Mesi name, so send an enquiry to plan the details.

How big a group can the studio take?
Private events comfortably fit up to 20 guests in the Burleigh Heads studio. If your group is bigger, send an enquiry, as the team may be able to make it work.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Yes. Food and drinks are BYO, so wine, bubbles and grazing boards are welcome. The team can also recommend local catering if you prefer.
Do guests need any art experience?
None at all. The workshops are built for complete beginners, and a facilitator walks the group through the techniques from the first layer to the last.
Can we decorate the studio for a hens party or shower?
Yes. You can bring your own decorations, or ask the team to help coordinate styling such as balloons, florals and personalised place cards.
Do you host children's parties?
Yes. Mini Mesi kids' parties are available by enquiry, using a 1-hour guided texture session. An adult must stay with each child for the whole event.
