About The Art Exchange

The Art Exchange is a Gold Coast paint and sip operator that runs public classes and private functions. Its studio sits on Verona Avenue at Isle of Capri, on the Surfers Paradise side, with free parking and a calm setting away from the busier streets. The tone is light and social. A local artist leads the group through a painting one step at a time, so complete beginners can keep up, and watercolour sessions are also on offer. Groups can pick from existing concepts or ask for a design built around the event. Private classes run for two to two-and-a-half hours. The in-studio minimum is 10 people, and a smaller booking is charged as a class of 10, while there is no set upper limit. Canvases, paints, brushes, aprons and easels are all provided, and the team sets up and packs down. There is also a Burleigh Heads option at Social Hub Studio, which includes a photography studio for group shots. Mobile classes can come to a private venue on the Gold Coast, subject to conditions. Drinks and snacks are BYO. A French high tea from a partner patisserie, or cheese and grazing boards made in-house, can be added for groups. Hens packages include professional photos, and everyone keeps their painting. Send an enquiry with your date and the type of event.
