About Kokomo Cruises

Kokomo Cruises is a family business working from Marina Mirage at Main Beach. Its one custom-built vessel has a wide open deck, deep lounges and a daybed, and the seating can be moved around when a group wants more room to stand and mingle. Summer charters run on the Broadwater from October to May. Shorter trips stay around Southport and the Surfers Paradise skyline, with music, drinks and a cheese platter if you want one. Book three or four hours and the group can stop for a picnic on Wave Break Island, or head towards Sovereign Island and the Coomera River with a swim along the way. A bow loader makes getting onto the sand simple. Groups bring their own food and drinks, and the crew supplies the esky and ice. Snorkels, beach games, an inflatable dock and a Bluetooth sound system are all included. Catering and drinks packages can be arranged on request if you would rather not organise them yourself. The operator names hens nights and birthdays among the groups it tailors trips for. From June to October the same boat offers private whale watching, which suits a group wanting something different in the cooler months. Send an enquiry with your date and guest numbers to check availability.
