About AVA Cruise Australia
AVA Cruise Australia runs two 78-foot motor yachts for private hire on the Gold Coast, named AVA and AKI. Each takes up to 45 guests and works from a three-hour minimum, so a group has the whole boat for a birthday, wedding, hens party, Christmas function or work event. Sunset cruises are on offer too. AVA is a sports yacht built in 2018, and guests can use every part of it during a charter. Seating runs across an open flybridge, a covered rear deck and walkways around the sides, with one daybed in the cockpit and another on the bow. Inside is a lounge with a galley and plenty of fridge space, and below are three bedrooms with bathrooms, including a state room with a starlight ceiling. AKI matches it for length and guest numbers, and the business pitches it strongly at corporate groups. Both boats run on a BYO basis for food, drinks and tableware, though red wine stays ashore and corkage applies. There is no commercial kitchen on board, so most groups use one of the recommended caterers, who can bring food, wine and ice to the yacht. Decorating and DJ suppliers can be recommended as well. Charters head out from Marina Mirage at Main Beach to explore the Broadwater and the canals around Surfers Paradise. Send an enquiry with your preferred date, guest numbers and which yacht you are leaning towards, and the team will confirm availability and pricing for the length of charter you have in mind.

Frequently asked questions
How many guests can AVA Cruise Australia take?
AVA and AKI are both 78-foot motor yachts that each carry up to 45 guests, so the same limit applies whichever boat you choose for your function.
What is the shortest charter we can book?
Both yachts have a three-hour minimum. Longer charters are also available, and pricing for each length is quoted once you send an enquiry with your date.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Yes. Food, drinks and tableware are all BYO on both yachts, with corkage of $10 for each guest. Red wine is the one exception and cannot come on board.
Is there a kitchen on board for caterers?
Neither yacht has commercial kitchen facilities. Recommended catering partners can prepare your order elsewhere and deliver the food, wine and ice directly to the boat.
Where do charters leave from and where do they go?
The business lists its berth at Marina Mirage in Main Beach. Cruises take in the Gold Coast Broadwater and the canals around Surfers Paradise.
