About Immersive Gamebox Sydney
Immersive Gamebox is at Aquarium Wharf in Darling Harbour, beside SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium. A Gamebox is a private room with the game projected onto its walls. Each player puts on a lightweight visor fitted with sensors, worn like a cap, and plays by moving, tapping the walls and cooperating with the team, so no VR headset is involved. Games include Squid Game, Batman, Ghostbusters, Escape AI, Floor Is Lava, Angry Birds and PAW Patrol, and while most last 60 minutes, a handful run for 30. Up to six people play in each Gamebox. Larger groups are divided into teams and booked into several boxes playing simultaneously, and every booking is private, so you won't be matched with strangers. Adults can choose from two Game and Drink packages with 60, 90 or 120 minutes of play: Level One includes a 30-minute drink package for 6 to 48 guests, and Level Two a 60-minute package for 12 to 48. Corporate socials can book six Gameboxes and a private space for 25 to 36 people, and custom packages can be put together for hens and bucks, team building and school groups. Kids' birthday parties need a minimum of 10 guests. They include 60 to 120 minutes of games, followed by pizza, fries and unlimited squash in a party area, and you can bring a shop-bought cake for $25. The games are suitable from age 3, though most are aimed at 8 and older and Squid Game at 12 and older, and under-12s must be accompanied by an adult. Get there 10 to 15 minutes early to check in, and leave bags in the free lockers.

Can we get drinks during the game?
Yes. Order from your Gamebox before you start or mid-game and staff will bring your drinks in. Adult groups can also pre-book a Game and Drink package that includes 30 or 60 minutes of drinks.
