About Entermission

Entermission is a virtual reality escape room venue on level 1 at 484 Kent Street in the Sydney CBD, near Bathurst Street and next door to The Belvedere Hotel. Groups put on headsets, become avatars in a shared virtual world and work together to find clues and solve puzzles against the clock. Each mission lasts up to 60 minutes, plus about 15 minutes for check-in and a briefing. There are two styles: free-roam arenas where players walk around wirelessly, and seated rooms, some using hand tracking so players interact with their own hands rather than controllers. Each room or arena holds up to six players and every experience is private to your group, so larger parties are split into teams that play the same game and race each other to finish. Party packages need at least six players and start with the 30-minute VR Challenge Party at $30 per player. The VR Escape Party is $55 per player for one escape room, and the Lava Action and Mega packages add Floor is Lava, an interactive light-up floor game, and VR challenge rooms. Corporate groups get similar packages, including a Challenger Pack at $75 per person. Every party package includes use of a party table in the foyer, where you can bring a cake, and the longer bookings allow BYO food and drinks. Escape rooms are for ages eight and up, with under-10s accompanied by an adult in the free-roam arenas. The Cinema Centre car park sits across the road at 521 Kent Street. A 50% deposit is due within three days of booking. It works for birthdays, hens and bucks groups and office team building.
