About Harbour Room @ Vogue Cafe Sydney
Vogue Cafe Sydney sits on Wheat Road, on the Darling Harbour foreshore at the western side of the CBD. Its private dining room, the Harbour Room, is laid out around one long shared table, which keeps the whole party together instead of spreading it over several tables in the main restaurant. The look is understated and polished. Think armchairs covered in dark green, panelled walls finished in paint, pictures hung in frames, timber underfoot and big windows. It seats 40 for a shared or plated meal and holds 60 standing. The room has its own PA and speakers, you can bring your own playlist, and there's Wi-Fi for a lunch that includes a presentation. The menu is modern Australian, with halal dishes and plenty of vegan and vegetarian choice. Over Christmas there's a $98 per person set menu, shared down the table, for groups of four or more, with dishes such as lobster pasta, chilli chicken, a surf-and-turf trio, and salmon with scallop. The room suits a birthday dinner, a lunch with clients or a small end-of-year gathering where talking matters more than dancing.
