About Killara Bowling Club
Killara Bowling Club has been part of the upper North Shore since 1916. It sits on Arnold Street, a short stroll from Killara Station, next to the tennis club and with its own off-street parking. You don't need to be a member to book. The club hires its clubhouse and greens for birthday celebrations, social groups and corporate functions, and barefoot bowls is open to anyone who wants a casual game. The clubhouse is fully air-conditioned. Furniture can be arranged for long dining tables, theatre rows or presentations, and the room seats up to 80 guests, with more for a cocktail-style event. Barefoot bowls is the drawcard for parties. The club supplies the bowls and a quick lesson, coloured bowls are on hand, and you can play in the sun or as the light fades, with the bar open the whole time. Catering is flexible. Bring your own food and run an open bar, or ask the club to put on a BBQ or a more formal meal, all arranged ahead of the day. The room has a public address system, projection and Wi-Fi for speeches or slideshows. There is wheelchair access throughout and an accessible unisex toilet. Send an enquiry to book and the club will help plan the details.
