Paintball South West Sydney

South West Sydney has what outdoor paintball needs most, which is room. The region spans Liverpool, Fairfield, Bankstown, Milperra and surrounds, and it is car-based territory with plenty of parking, which suits a sport that fills a morning and sends everyone home with a few bruises and plenty of stories. It is a natural choice for groups who live in the south west, and worth the drive for groups from elsewhere who want a proper outdoor field. • Getting there: the region is car-based, and Heartbreak Ridge has parking on site. Sort out car-pools in advance so the whole group arrives together.
• The experience: an outdoor field of jungle, swamps, creeks, bridges, bunkers and trenches, with two teams in different coloured masks playing scenarios such as capturing bases and rescuing hostages.
• Group size: starter packs are priced per player for any group, and party packages cover eight, twelve or twenty players with extra players added at $60 each.
• Booking: confirming 14 days ahead doubles the organiser's free bonus paintballs, so it pays to book at least two weeks out.
• Food and drinks: drinks and snacks can be bought during the rest breaks between games, so plan a proper meal afterwards.

The day starts early, with registration at 9am, a safety briefing at 9.30am and the first game at 10am, which leaves the afternoon free for a barbecue, lunch or the next part of a bucks day. Every player must be 12 or older, and under 18s need a signed parent consent form.
