Paintball Milperra

Milperra, near Bankstown beside the Georges River, has the kind of space an outdoor paintball field needs. Heartbreak Ridge Paintball has been running on Maxwell Avenue for more than 25 years, with games played across jungle, swamps, creeks, bridges, bunkers and trenches, and battle zones styled like film sets. Your group is split into two teams wearing different coloured masks and plays scenarios such as capturing bases and rescuing hostages, which is exactly what a bucks party or a big birthday is looking for.

What a paintball day in Milperra involves:

• Getting there: Milperra is car-based, and the field has parking on site. Car-pooling keeps things simple and gets everyone there for the early start.
• The experience: arrive at 9am to register and get kitted up, then a safety briefing at 9.30am and the first game at 10am. Games run in short rounds with rest breaks in between.
• Group size: party packages cover eight, twelve or twenty players, with $60 per extra player, and every player must be 12 or older.
• Booking: organisers earn free bonus paintballs based on group size, and the bonus doubles if the booking is confirmed 14 days ahead, so lock in at least two weeks out.
• Food and drinks: drinks and snacks can be bought during the rest breaks, along with extra paintballs.

Wear light clothing with long sleeves and sturdy shoes, with no thongs or sandals, and bring photo ID. Under 18s need a signed parent consent form, and female players get free gloves, chest and neck protection. With the first game at 10am, the day leaves room for lunch or the next stop of a celebration afterwards.
