About Bayside Limousines
Bayside Limousines Cars & Buses has been chauffeuring Sydney groups since Oris Squadrito started it in 1994, and it still runs from Putney in the inner north. The fleet splits three ways. Prestige sedans and SUVs carry two or three passengers, the stretch limousines and white stretch Hummer take 10 to 14, and the people movers, 20 and 22 seat minibuses and 34, 48 and 53 seat coaches handle whole groups. The stretch cars are the party end of it, fitted with colour changing fibre optic lighting through the cabin and ceiling, fully equipped bars, multiple LCD screens and a surround sound system with subwoofer. Everything is hired by the hour with a chauffeur. The minimum is one hour for most jobs and two hours for weddings, and time past that is charged in 15 minute blocks, so a formal run or a night out is priced on how long you actually want the car rather than off a fixed package. Quotes come by phone or email and can cover several vehicles, return trips and extra pickups. Weddings and formals take a 50 per cent deposit, with the balance due the day before. Pickups are anywhere across Sydney, and photo stops are fine as long as you count them in your booked time. A few rules matter for party bookings: alcohol on board needs written consent beforehand, no food is allowed in the vehicles, smoking is not permitted, and pickups between 11.30pm and 5.30am carry a 25 per cent surcharge. Baby seats and boosters can be fitted if you ask when booking, and cancelling at least 48 hours out costs nothing.

How many people can Bayside carry?
The stretch limousines seat 10 to 14 depending on which one you get. Above that the Mitsubishi Rosa takes 22 and the Toyota Coaster 20, and the luxury coaches come in 34, 48 and 53 seat sizes. The sedans seat three, with two in the rear and one beside the chauffeur.
Is there a minimum hire time?
Yes. Weddings have a two hour minimum and every other occasion a one hour minimum. Anything past that is charged in 15 minute increments, and waiting time is billed in 15 minute blocks from your nominated pickup, with the first 15 minutes free on general travel.
How much does it cost?
Bayside does not publish rates. Quotes are prepared by phone on 1300 720 254 or by email and can take in multiple vehicles, return journeys and extra pickups, so the figure depends on the date, the vehicle and how long you need it. Pickups between 11.30pm and 5.30am add a 25 per cent surcharge.
Can we drink on board?
Only with written consent arranged before the booking, as alcohol is otherwise a prohibited item. Food cannot be eaten in the vehicles at all, and smoking is not permitted by law. If you want champagne for a wedding, their wedding service already includes it along with bottled water.
Where do you pick up from?
Anywhere across Sydney. The Putney address is a mailing address rather than a depot you visit, and the cars come to you. Bayside also runs services in the other Australian capital cities plus the Gold Coast and Cairns, so an interstate leg can go on the same booking.
